  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for slurry)

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

  • Sliced green onions (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Marinate the Chicken:
    In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Add chicken and let marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes or overnight.

  • Cook the Chicken:
    Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken (discard excess marinade) and cook for 6–8 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.

  • Make the Sauce:
    In the same skillet, pour the reserved marinade. Simmer for 3–5 minutes. Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened into a glaze.

  • Coat the Chicken:
    Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until fully glazed.

  • Serve:
    Slice and serve over rice, noodles, or veggies. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
