Description

A cozy, creamy version of lasagna in a bowl—loaded with noodles, cheese, and Italian flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or Italian sausage

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 can (28 oz / 800 g) crushed tomatoes

  • 4 cups (1 L) chicken or vegetable broth

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt, pepper, red pepper flakes (to taste)

  • 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces

  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese

  • Fresh basil, for garnish


Instructions

  • Heat olive oil, sauté onion and garlic.

  • Brown beef/sausage, drain fat.

  • Stir in tomato paste, tomatoes, broth, and seasonings. Simmer 10 min.

  • Add broken noodles, cook until tender.

  • Stir in cream, adjust seasoning.

  • Serve hot with mozzarella, ricotta, and basil on top.
