Description

Cheesy, spicy, and perfectly crisp — these jalapeño poppers are the ultimate crowd-pleasing appetizer for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • ~10–12 jalapeños, halved & seeded

  • Cream cheese, softened

  • Shredded cheddar (or blend)

  • Garlic (minced or powder)

  • Chives or green onion

  • Salt & pepper

  • Bacon (optional)

  • Panko or breadcrumbs (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to ~400 °F (200 °C).

  • Halve jalapeños lengthwise; remove seeds/membranes.

  • Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic, chives, salt & pepper.

  • Stuff each pepper half with the mixture.

  • (Optional) Wrap with bacon or sprinkle breadcrumbs.

  • Bake about 18–22 minutes until bubbly and crisp.

  • Cool a little, then serve warm.
